Product Details:
MasterSeal NP 472.is a single component joint sealants material based upon polyurethane resins.

Recommended Uses:
MasterSeal NP 472 has been especially formulated for

• Interior and exterior use
• Sealing for walls, and ceilings
• Sealing expansion joints in buildings and civil works
• Sealing for prefabricated concrete elements
• For use on joints with up to 25% movement

Application:
Preparation of Substrate-
Must be clean, sound and dry. All traces of dust, oil and other dirt must be removed. It is especially important to remove traces of laitence and cement grout. In general, a minimum direct tensile strength of 1.5N/mm2 is required. For the joint sealant to function correctly it is essential that bond breaker tape or polyethylene closed cell backer rod be used to regulate joint depth and prevent three sided adhesion.

Joint design-
Again to ensure long term performance the depth of the joint should be designed to be approximately half of the width especially on joints > 25mm wide. See table below.

The product should be tooled smooth with a spatula or with non-alcoholic liquid to create a concave surface free of bubbles. It can be applied directly both horizontally and vertically

Note: MasterSeal NP 472 is not suitable for

• Exposure to chemicals
• Permanent exposure to water
• Contact with foodstuff

Colour:
Grey, white, Black, Beige and other colour available upon requested with minimum quantity applied.

Packing:
MasterSeal NP 472 is available in 600ml foil sausages or 20 sausages per carton.

Shelf Life:
MasterSeal NP 472 can be stored for 9 months if stored at cool dry warehouse conditions.
